Happy New Year!!

Welcome 2011, I hope that my screaming baby at the stroke of Midnight was not a sign of things to come...(teething is so rough on little ones!) During a wonderful week off over the holidays I was able to get some sewing done on my Rosettes quilt. I have to say that I am a bit disappointed in the pattern, it is not very detailed and it took me making two blocks and realizing they were not flat enough for me, that I would need to press open each and every seam. :-/

On a happy note I have joined UFO domination 2011 on the confused quilters blog, to try and complete some tops that I have pieced that need to be finished and loved. I am also thinking about joining the Postage stamp quilt along on P.S.I quilt (I love Rachel's blog!)

And today I am featured on KarrieLyne's blog Freckled Whimsy, she is definitely someone I get a lot of inspiration from. I sent her a tidbit that my grandmother taught me many many moons ago as she would say! So if you hopped over here to read my humble blog from Karrielyne's, WELCOME and I hope you will follow and leave comments (I just love those!)

I hope to have some new pics posted soon, when my hubby brings back my camera from his "mancave" :-)

So what are you new years resolutions? I have decided to try and finish some projects (quilt and crochet) before I start new ones, take a picture everyday of my beautiful girls for the whole year, and pray more! Blessings to you all!

Love Angie

  3. i have a few resolutions in my head, but the one that keeps coming to the forefront is that i need to not take on too much! so for now, i'm not joining any swaps (except for those in my guild), and trying to just finish the projects i started last year, and get the ones done i NEED to this year. :)

  5. I read your tip over at Freckled Whimsy. That's what brought me to your blog. I was hoping you had photos with your tip over here, but sadly that is not the case. I'm such a "visual" learner, and need those "visuals" to go along with your tip. Hopefully you'll post pictures to let me know what you're talking about.
